Applications of Urban Planning

Summary
The current interactive 3D GIS model (The Adelaide Model) allows the user to immerse themselves within an urban environment. The aim over the 3 year study period is to: enhance this model to offer a more realistic simulation of the urban environment; improve the user interface by embedding data and scientific models within the current 3D GIS environment to enable urban planners to create scenarios in real time via interactive manipulation of either the data or models. more...
