| The redevelopment of ‘The Parks’ in Adelaide’s northwestern suburbs is an ambitious public housing project. The project includes the extensive redevelopment and privatization, and some refurbishment, of existing public housing stock. To assist the planning and redevelopment stages of the project GISCA constructed a GIS database of the proposed redevelopment including each dwelling type. This database was used to compare several proposed development scenarios, thus assisting the successful planning and coordination of the redevelopment.
