| This project seeks to develop a management decision support system for the Department of Human Services and specifically the Northern Metropolitan Community Health Service (NMCHS). The system will facilitate resource allocation and service provision. Such a system would provide timely, relevant and user-friendly information to decision makers and service providers. It also functions as a database to assist in understanding the epidemiology of particular diseases, assisting their effective management. Moreover, this system would provide the basis for modeling the likely future patterns of disease and hence assist in timely, targeted and effective interventions to cope with those diseases. | |
