Common Clients Project

Summary
The Department of Human Services (DHS) has engaged GISCA in an effort to develop a better information system to support decision-making. The primary objective is to identify common metropolitan Adelaide clients within six of the Department’s services by integrating a variety of the DHS’s databases. This will involve the identification, location and mapping of households and individuals receiving multiple services, thus highlighting common clients. The location of selected DHS services will also be mapped. By identifying common clients DHS hopes to improve its decision-making and streamline its service delivery.
