Geographical Analysis of the Donor Database for the Australian Red Cross Blood Service

Summary
The Red Cross Blood Service are currently reviewing their operations in an effort to halt a decline in the number of active donors. As a result of the review process, GISCA were engaged to conduct a geographical analysis of the donor database. The aim of the project was to examine the spatial distribution of the existing donors in an effort to gain a better understanding of the segments of the community most likely to donate, and to identify areas that may have a relatively low number of donors.
