Investigation of the Level of Banking and Financial Services in Rural and Remote Australia

Summary
The project analysed the distribution of Banking and Financial Services throughout Australia. The locations of banking and financial services throughout Australia were examined by their relative remoteness using the ARIA+ categorisation. The distribution of Banking and Financial services was also compared with the distribution of other selected government and non-government services. A background paper was produced for the Australian Banker's Association detailing the analysis and including a comparative analysis of service provision in Canada.
