HARRIS, Dr Kevin, ManagerKevin Harris was appointed Manager in February 1999. During 1998
he worked as a writer on the team which produced the Social Health Atlas of
Australia Series. Between 1972 and 1997 he was a Lecturer in Geography at
the University of South Australia. |

HOLLIDAY, Darren, Senior Research Consultant / Systems AdministratorDarren Holliday is employed by GISCA as a Research Consultant and
Systems Administrator. He has completed a Masters degree in Spatial Information
Science, specialising in the visualisation, dissemination and exploration
of spatial information on the world wide web. He is also involved with various
research projects within GISCA. |

HUGO, Professor Graeme, DirectorProfessor Hugo is the Director of the Centre. He is an acknowledged
international expert in the area of geodemographics as well as on Australian
and Asian population issues. He has served on a number of Australian government
population related committees as well as worked as a consultant to a wide
range of international organisations (World Bank, ILO, UNFPA, UN Population
Division UNESCAP) and the Indonesian government. He is on scientific committees
of the International Union for the Scientific Study of Population and the
International Geographical Union as is on the Social Science Panel of the
Australian Research Council. |

MEDLIN, Chris, Research ConsultantIn 1997, Chris successfully completed the Graduate Diploma in Applied
GIS and Remote Sensing at GISCA. Early in 1998, Chris moved from Adelaide
to Albury / Wodonga where he worked for 3 years, first with the Victorian
Department of Natural Resources and Environment and then with Charles Sturt
University. In October 2000 Chris returned to Adelaide and commenced work
with GISCA where he has had extensive involvement in both teaching and consulting
research. |

SNOAD, Deborah, Research ConsultantDeborah joined the GISCA team after completing an Environmental Studies
degree with a second major in geography. Her study and general interests focus
on coastal management and environmentally sustainable development. |

TAYLOR, Danielle, Senior Researh ConsultantDanielle Taylor has extensive experience in the application of GIS
and has worked in both Australia and the United States. Since joining the
Centre in 1998, she has been involved with many of the GIS consultancies the
centre has undertaken, including having a major role in the development of
the Accessibility/Remoteness Index of Australia (ARIA). In 2002 Danielle
completed a Masters of Spatial Information Science through GISCA and is currently
a PhD candidate. |
